But He founded His C...Jesus wants us all to be one. But He founded His Church on Peter, the Rock..........The Roman Catholic Church has the fullness of Jesus’ teachings............I believe in unity ...........and evangelizing our beliefs. But I query, uniting with non-Catholics who do not believe what is the premise of our Church..........I do not believe in a “One World Religion”........which lessens Jesus’ place , after He came to earth, was born and died for us, rose from the dead.......left us His teachings......sent us the Holy Spirit to continue to teach us.......and bestow graces on us......and emphasize the “Father”.......in order to bring all together with different beliefs........emphasizing Creation, Paganism beliefs (like we saw emerge in the Amazon Synod last fall)..........We have the Seven Sacraments given to us.........the other non- Catholic Churches do not!...........so therefore, how do we KEEP our fullness and unite when the others will not accept our full beliefs, our Pope. I do not believe that Pope St. John Paul 2 would have us give up ours.........he just encourages the desire of Jesus to have us together..........I have read about this undertaking for many years, and cannot believe that it is actually appearing before my eyes..........Lois MuncasterLois Muncasternoreply@blogger.com
