This first gathering of the Cardinals who will confer with the Holy Father about various aspects concerning the governance of the universal Church, and the possible revision of the Apostolic Constitution Pastor bonus, regarding the Roman Curia, is scheduled to take place from October 1-3, 2013.
In anticipation of this meeting, the Holy Father issued a Chirograph (a personal decree) yesterday, by means of which he established the Council of Cardinals, and officially appointed the eight consultors who are Cardinals from various parts of the world.
