At the living Nativity

At 4:00pm yesterday afternoon, the Holy Father, Pope Francis made a private visit to the Roman parish of Sant'Alfonso Maria de Liguori, located on the Giustiniana, in order to see the living Nativity, organized by the faithful of the parish and including more than 200 figures.

To welcome the Holy Father, there was an immense crowd as well as Cardinal Agostino Vallini, Apostolic Vicar of His Holiness for the Diocese of Rome, as well as His Excellency, Guerino Di Tora and the pastor of the parish, Reverend Father Dario Pompeo Criscuoli.

During his visit, following a moment of recollection and prayer inside the church, the Pope stopped at each of the scenes of the living Nativity and greeted each of the participants who were part of each of the scenes.  He then returned to the Vatican.
