Pope to visit Korea

Today, the Vatican Press Office issued a statement explaining that His Holiness, Pope Francis has received an invitation from the President of the Republic of Korea and the Bishops of that country to make a pastoral visit to that land.

His Holiness will make an Apostolic journey to the Republic of Korea from August 14 to 18 of this year.  During his visit there, he will partake in the Sixth Asian Youth Day, which will be held in the Diocese of Daejeon.
