Arrival at the Meeting Area at the Pompeii Shrine

The Holy Father will pray inside the Shrine, then travel by helicopter to Naples

Arrival at the Scampia communal sports field

Meeting with the people of the district and with various social groups in the Piazza Giovanni Paolo II, including a speech by the Holy Father

Concelebration of the Eucharist in Piazza Plebiscito, including a homily by the Holy Father

1:00pm
Visit of the Giuseppe Salvia prison at Poggioreale and lunch with some of the prisoners, including a speech by the Holy Father

Veneration of the relics of Saint Januarius and a meeting with the clergy, religious and permanent deacons at the Cathedral, including a speech by the Holy Father

Meeting with the sick in the Basilica of the New Jesus, including a speech by the Holy Father
