Having concluded the Eucharistic celebration in the fairgrounds in Juárez City, the Holy Father, Pope Francis travelled in the popemobile to the Abraham González international airport where, in the presence of the President of the United States of Mexico, Mister Enrique Peña Nieto, the departure ceremonies took place.
At 7:15pm local time, the aircraft - an AeroMéxico B787 - departed from Juárez City with the Holy Father aboard, destined for Rome.
Immediately after having left Juárez City, the Holy Father sent a message by telegraph to the President of the United States of Mexico, His Excellency, Mister Enrique Peña Nieto.
