Paraguay at the Vatican

This morning the Holy Father, Pope Francis received in audience His Excellency, Mister Horacio Manuel Cartes Jara, President of the Republic of Paraguay, who subsequently met with His Eminence Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin, accompanied by His Excellency, Paul Richard Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States.

The discussions, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, focused mainly on the themes of education and social promotion, as well as a number of regional issues.
