The Holy Father, Pope Francis has issued a video message addressed to the entire Catholic community around the world on the occasion of Laudato si' Week, which will be observed from 16 to 24 May 2020. This year marks the fifth anniversary of the publication of His Holiness' Encyclical Letter on the environment.
What kind of world do we want to leave to those who succeed us, to the children who are growing up? (cf Laudato si’, 160)
Motivated by this question, I would like to invite you to participate in Laudato si' Week, from May 16 to 24, 2020. It is a global campaign on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the Encyclical Letter Laudato si’ on the care of our common home.
I renew my urgent call to respond to the ecological crisis. The cry of the earth and the cry of the poor ask for nothing more.
Let us take care of creation, the gift of our good God and Creator. Let us celebrate Laudato si' Week together.
