At 12:30pm today, at the Holy See Press Centre, there was a Meeting point held with journalists to outline the International Study Gathering organized by the Pontifical Committee for Historical Sciences on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reform (1517-2017) focused on the theme: Luther 500 years afterwards. A re-reading of the Lutheran Reform in its historical ecclesiastical context. The Gathering will take place in the Conference Room at the Institute of Mary, the Most Holy Child (Via Paolo VI, 21 - Rome) from 29 to 31 March 2017.
The following persons were available to the press: Reverend Father Bernard Ardura, O. Praem., President of the Historical Sciences Committee and Reverend Professor Don Johannes Grohe, Professor of Medieval history at the Holy Cross Pontifical University in Rome and Director of the Scientific review entitled Annuarium Historiae Consiliorum.
