St. Michael-Resurrection parish in Edmonton, Alberta has upped the anti.
This past Sunday, they issued a challenge not only to parishes, but to all Canadians to join in the efforts to raise funds to help the starving in the Horn of Africa. Father Keeler, the pastor of that parish explains that it's as simple as sharing the news with five other people. Invite them to share it with five more ... and so on. In no time, 250,000 Catholics would have heard the news.
If each of them agreed to contribute just $40, the total would soon reach $10 million.
