Cardinal Consultors meeting

This morning at the Vatican, the fourteenth meeting between the Holy Father and the Cardinal Consultors - otherwise referred to as the Council of Nine, began.  This most recent round of meetings will continue until Wednesday of this week, April 13.

The Council of Nine are the Cardinals who have been asked by the Holy Father to assist him with the pastoral governance of the Universal Church.  They have been reviewing the structures of the Vatican offices and making suggestions for improvements wherever these may be needed.
