Greetings aboard the flight

Aboard the aircraft that took Pope Francis to Myanmar last night, as he usually does, he met and greeted the journalists who are accompanying him on this papal voyage.

Following a few words of introduction offered by the Director of the Holy See Press Office, Mister Greg Burke, the Pope spoke a few words to the media representatives.

Greetings of the Holy Father, Pope Francis
offered to journalists aboard the papal flight

Greg Burke
Your Holiness, good evening and good night!

We are always grateful to have you visit us, today once again, and this time it is already past 10:30pm.  You spoke about a message of reconciliation, forgiveness and peace.  This evening, we ask you to speak a little bit about peace: just a few words so that you have time to sleep.  Thank you.  Do you wish to say something ... ?

Pope Francis
Good night, and thank you very much for your company.  Thank you for your work which always plants seeds of goodness.  I wish you restful sleep.  They say that it is too hot; I'm sorry about that, but at least it is fruitful.  Now I will greet you all.
