Tonight, at 9:15pm in Rome, the Holy Father, Pope Francis will preside over the Via Crucis which will take place at the Colosseum. The Stations of the Cross will be broadcast worldwide.
The texts for the meditations and the prayers for the stations of the Via Crucis were prepared this year by His Excellency, Renato Corti, Bishop emeritus of Novara (Italy).
Various persons have been invited to carry the cross this evening. Here is a list of those who will participate.
