On Sunday, October 14, 2018, the 28th Sunday of Ordinary Time, at 10:15am local time (4:15am EDT), the Holy Father, Pope Francis will preside over a Mass which will be celebrated in Saint Peter's Square. During that Mass, the Pope will canonize seven (7) Blesseds:
- His Holiness, Paul VI;
- His Excellency, Oscar Arnulfo Romero Galdámez, former Archbishop of El Salvador;
- Father Francesco Spinelli, an Italian priest who founded the Sisters Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament;
- Father Vincenzo Romano, an Italian priest most well known for his care of orphans;
- Sister Maria Caterina Kasper, a German nun who founded the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ;
- Sister Nazaria Ígnazia of Saint Theresa of Jesus, a Spanish nun who founded the Missionaries of the Crusade; and
- Nunzio Sulprizio, a young blacksmith who lived in Pescara (Italy)
