This morning, the Holy Father, Pope Francis appointed new Eparchs (Eastern-rite Bishops) for three jurisdictions, including the Ukrainian Eparchy of Saint Peter and Paul of Melbourne (Australia), the Ukrainian Eparchy of the Holy Family of London (Great Britain), and the Ukrainian Eparchy of New Westminster (British Columbia, Canada).
His Excellency, David Motiuk, who is currently serving as Eparch (Bishop) for the Ukrainian Catholics in Edmonton (Alberta) has been appointed as of today to also serve as Apostolic Administrator of the Ukrainian Eparchy of New Westminster (British Columbia).
