What's new in regenerative medicine?

This morning, the Vatican Press Office issued an advisory addressed to journalists announcing that next Wednesday, April 9 at 11:30am local time, there will be a Press Conference held in the John Paul II Hall (in the offices of the Vatican Press Office) during which there will be an explanation of the subject matter to be covered at the upcoming International Conference entitled Regenerative Medicine: fundamental changes in science and culture.  This conference is scheduled to take place in the new Synod Hall at the Vatican (the same Hall where the Cardinals gathered for the pre-Conclave meetings) next week - from April 11 to 13 of this year.

Present at the Press Conference next Wednesday to faciliate the presentation to journalists will be:
  • His Eminence, Gianfranco Cardinal Ravazi, President of the Pontifical Council for Culture;
  • Doctor Robin Smith, Appointed Delegate from NeoStem and President of the Stem for Life Foundation; and
  • Monsignor Tomaz Trafny, from the Scientific department of the Pontifical Council for Culture.
