Bishops from all countries will discuss protection for minors

Acting upon the request of the Council of Cardinals at this week's meeting with the Holy Father, the Pope has decided to convene a meeting with the Presidents of the Episcopal Conferences of the Catholic Church focusing on the theme of Protection of minors. The meeting with the Pope will be held in the Vatican from 21 to 24 February 2019.

During the 26th Meeting of the Council of Cardinals over the past three days, the Council of Cardinals largely reflected together with the Holy Father on the issues of abuse, having already released their statement through the Holy See Press Office on September 10, 2018.

Continuing with the work on the reform of the Roman Curia, the Council of Cardinals concluded their re-reading of the texts already prepared. The Council also discussed the pastoral care of the personnel working in the Roman Curia.
