Returning from Tallinn to Rome

At 6:30pm local time (11:30am EDT), at the International Airport in Tallinn, there was a ceremony held to mark the Holy Father's departure from Estonia.

Upon his arrival, the Holy Father was welcomed by the Prime Minister, Jüri Ratas with whom he spoke for a few moments.  Then, he boarded an airBaltic CS300.

The aircraft carrying the Pope on the return journey to Rome, at the conclusion of his Apostolic Visit to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, departed from Tallinn's International Airport at 6:15pm local time (11:15am EDT) and landed at Rome's Ciampino International Airport at 8:05pm (2:05pm EDT).

Immediately after his departure, the Holy Father, Pope Francis sent the following telegram to the President of the Republic of Estonia, Kersti Kalulaid.
