Each year, on the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, June 29, the Holy Father presents a special scarf, called a pallium, to newly-named Metropolitan Archbishops from various locations throughout the world.
During the celebration of a Mass which will take place in Saint Peter's Square on Saturday morning, beginning at 9:30am, there will be 34 pallia distributed by Pope Francis, including to one Canadian Archbishop - His Excellency, Murray Chatlain, Archbishop of Keewatin-Le Pas.
