This evening, at 9:00pm local time in Rome (4:00pm EST), the Holy Father prayed the Holy Rosary. Following the invitation issued yesterday at the conclusion of the General Audience, Catholics all around the world joined in this Marian prayer.
Prior to the recitation of the Rosary, the Holy Father recorded a video message, the text of which follows:
This evening, we are united in prayer, entrusting ourselves to the intercession of Saint Joseph, custodian of the Holy Family, custodian of all our families. The carpenter from Nazareth also experienced precariousness and bitterness, he was preoccupied with the future, but he knew how to walk in the darkness that characterizes some moments, allowing himself to be guided always, without reserve, by the will of God.
