At the beginning of this morning's Mass, celebrated at the Casa Santa Marta in the Vatican, the Holy Father offered a few words regarding the victims of the attack which took place yesterday in Paris at the offices of the weekly news magazine Charlie Hebdo.
Yesterday's attack in Paris makes us think of the cruelty, human cruelty: so much terrorism, isolated terrorism or State terrorism. Man is capable of such cruelty! Let us pray during this Mass for the victims of this cruelty. So much cruelty! And let us pray also that the Lord will change the hearts of all those who are involved in such cruelty.
