The week leading up to the Canonization of two Popes

The canonization of Blessed John XXIII and Blessed John Paul II, besides being an important spiritual and ecclesial event, will inevitably be a big media event.  Numerous journalists from all over the world will be in Rome during the week leading up to the celebration.  For this reason, it is important that we should offer as much support and information as possible.

For this reason, the Holy See Press Office and the Office of Social Communication for the Vicariate of Rome plan to provide briefings at the Press Office located near the Media Centre in the Atrium of the Paul VI Hall, which will provide occasions for testimonials and encounters with scholars of the two new Saints.

During the briefing, short translations in English and Spanish will also be provided, as was provided during the period leading up to the Conclave of 2013.
