Pope to visit prison in Paliano on Holy Thursday

The Holy See Press Centre explained this afternoon that next Thursday (Holy Thursday), His Holiness, Pope Francis will visit the Paliano House of Detention (in the Province of Frosinone and the Diocese of Palestrina) to celebrate the Mass of the Lord's Supper, including the rite of the washing of feet which will involve some of the prisoners.

The visit will be strictly private in nature.
